Good work

This little game reminds me of the old pc days, good work

The application has non-friendly menu, the same antediluvian window and graphics as on Windows. The game window is always centered regardless on position specified by user when changing game level. The application looks like albugo among other mac applications.

Does not work on my MAC OS X 10.6.8

When i open the app, it opens a blank window and does nothing.

The game is fine, looks and plays exactly as you expect. One big downside - even after purchasing the full unlock, a popup message appears after every blown mine, advertising the “hats” cheats for sale and another game by this company. Highly unappealing to have to see this popup message over and over again.

Annoying Popup

Ill give it 5 stars if they just get rid of the obnoxious ad for "work hats" or whatever that pops up after every single game.

Like other Single-Starrers...

The game doesnt work. I also have Mac OS X 10.6.8 and the game will not open save for an empty white box.

I like this game. It appears to be an almost identical rendition of the original. It may be just me, but I really think the game needs a mode that will let you flag mines without having to do the two-finger click on the mouse-less laptop. I can hardly make it through an expert game without inadvertantly misclicking and triggering a mine that I was trying to flag. That’s annoying. Maybe you could just add a check or button that would let us toggle the mode and then switch back and forth between click and flag mode while using the single click. Just a thought. The game is fun though. I just need to get better at my double-click.

Not for 10.6.8

Will not even load on Snow Leopard 10.6.8, just a blank box. And the fact that there are very few apps available for the OS, I had high hopes.

Meh

ok so the game is really nice and all and its just like the old pc version, but my only problem is that the menu won’t load. The probelm is that Ive honestly played so much that the beginner level is waaay too easy but since i cant goto the menu i cant change the difficulty which annoys me a lot D:<

Crashed using OS 10.6.8

Downloaded game and tried to open a new game and crashed every time. Using OS 10.6.8

The game is great for the Beginner and Intermediate levels, especially since it adds keyboard substitutes for right-clicking on trackpads and the Magic Mouse, but I wanted to play an Expert game and received only dialogs asking me for money with no result.

Little game

What my most favorite game is the game in favor of thinking. Playing this game will develop my intellectual. This app is all right, come on!

I don’t see a point.

This is my first time playing any version, and I really don’t see a point. It is also a bit hard to understand. I don’t really like it.

I think this is preposterous. If you actually payed for it then you are a fool. Just go download a different minesweeper app that gives you the FULL CLASSIC GAME FROM THE START.

This game plays just like the old Windows game. My only problem with it is that I use a magic mouse. The mouse doesn’t do a great job distinguising between right and left mouse clicks, so I frequently “blow up” mines when I’m actually trying to place a flag with the “right” button. This isn’t the fault of the game, but it unfortunately impacts the enjoyment level.

What the title says. It’s Minesweeper, the classic game, and still as fun here as it was when I first played it on the Microsoft Windows 98 many years ago. One complaint I will share is that it isn’t fun having to cancel the ratings dialog box after every run through.

I have played this game for many years and enjoyed it immensely. When I converted to an iMac, I was not expecting what happened. When I plaiy the game, at least 50% of the time, probably more, l lose even though I took the correct action. I will secondary click a corner that is absolutely a mined square and the game will say I clicked. I have tried everything. I right click only by pressing on the edge of the mouse and it still malfunctions. I can’t count the number of times I’ve given up in frustration. As I said, I’ve played the PC version ever since it came out, so it is NOT user error. ARRGH!
